Pathways
Students enrolling on the MSc Education programme will, from 2017/2018 academic session onwards, be able to either gain a general MSc degree in Education or else take a specific pathway. The pathways are based upon research and teaching strengths in the school:
- MSc Education (Research)
- MSc Education (Learning in communities) (Not available until 2018/19 academic session)
- MSc Education (Physical Education and Wellbeing) (Not available until 2018/2019 academic session)
- MSc Education (Comparative education and International Development)
- MSc Education (Philosophy of Education)
- MSc Education (Child and Adolescent Psychology)

A UK 2:1 honours degree, or its international equivalent, in a relevant discipline.
We may also consider your application if you have relevant employment or experience; please contact us to check before you apply.
English language requirements
All applicants must have one of the following qualifications as evidence of their English language ability:
an undergraduate or masters degree, that was taught and assessed in English in a majority English speaking country as defined by UK Visas and Immigration
- IELTS: total 7.0 (at least 6.5 in each module)
