Lambton High School was established in 1974 and has built a strong reputation amongst the community for quality education.
We are a proudly comprehensive, co-educational high school catering for students from Years 7 to 12. Our school has a strong focus on learning and high expectations for student success.

Facilities
At Lambton High School we have a comprehensive range of facilities and resources for students and staff. We boast a modern refurbished self-service canteen to provide quality healthy food to our students.
Our well resourced library has a theatrette, computer learning space, GATS room, senior study and modern presentation facilities.
Our Multi Purpose Centre (MPC) and Tiered Performance Centre possess state of the art audio- visual presentation equipment to accommodate high quality student performances and presentations. We have strengthened community partnerships by hiring our facilities to support a range of community organisations.
Recent upgrades to the school site include wheelchair access, ramps and lift, covered ways and covered outdoor sporting areas.
The refurbishment of the six science labs have been completed and commercial kitchen facilities installed.
Our school is fortunate to be surrounded by extensive community sporting facilities.
The central focus of Applied Technology education is the well-being of people within the context of their personal, family, community and work roles.
Applied Technology education is about becoming independent, connecting with others and taking actions towards preferred futures that support individual and family well- being. Applied Technology education promotes students' thinking, knowing, investigating, creating, communicating, participating and reflecting skills.
The focus of our courses is to incorporate the use of technology through practical application in Food Technology, Textiles and Hospitality subjects.
The Applied Technology faculty consists of a team of professional, experienced and dynamic staff who bring a wealth of experience to the teaching and learning of students at Lambton High School.
Learning is enhanced through the use of technology, tools, techniques and skills with various materials such as textiles and food.
Students participate in a range of activities with hands on experience.
